Job summary

RED Engineering Design in Sydney seeks a Telecommunications Engineer to deliver ICT infrastructure design for data centres and commercial buildings. The role requires strong CAD and Revit skills and significant experience in telecom network design.

You will lead technical meetings, produce specifications and drawings, and ensure compliance with industry standards while coordinating with electrical and mechanical disciplines.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with ICT infrastructure design focus.
• Experience delivering ICT infrastructure design for data centre or commercial buildings.
• Proven ability to produce technical specifications and drawings that meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce ICT infrastructure design specifications, drawings, and procurement packs with leadership skills.
• Coordinate ICT design with electrical and mechanical disciplines and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Develop 2D CAD drawings and interpret 3D Revit models for client reviews.
• Represent the company in technical meetings with customers and contractors.
• Ensure all designs meet industry, legal and quality standards.
• Lead and mentor technical teams in output and production.
• Plan and host client meetings to capture requirements and confirm expectations.
