Job summary

XPT Software Australia in Melbourne is seeking an experienced API integration professional to design, implement and support IBM DataPower services and API gateways. You will collaborate with mainframe teams to expose CICS, IMS, and DB2 services via APIs and ensure secure data exchanges across systems.

• Design, develop, and support IBM DataPower services, gateways, and API integrations.
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs using IBM DataPower and z/OS Connect.
• Integrate distributed applications with IBM z/OS mainframe systems and services.
• Develop API mediation, security, routing, transformation, and protocol conversion solutions.
• Configure and support authentication, authorization, SSL/TLS, OAuth, and API security policies.
• Collaborate with mainframe teams to expose CICS, IMS, DB2, and COBOL-based services through APIs.
• Troubleshoot integration, performance, and connectivity issues across DataPower and z/OS platforms.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, and production deployments.
• Ensure integration solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, and operational standards.
