Job summary

IBM DataPower Developer with z/OS Connect Experience (Mainframe) is sought to design, develop, and support integration services across DataPower, z/OS Connect, and mainframe systems.

You will implement API mediation, security policies, and transformations, collaborating with mainframe teams to expose CICS, IMS, and COBOL-based services as APIs while ensuring quality, performance, and adherence to enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing IBM DataPower services and gateways.
• Hands-on work with z/OS Connect for API exposure from mainframe.
• Experience integrating CICS/IMS/DB2/COBOL services as APIs.
• Knowledge of API security, OAuth, and TLS policies.

IBM DataPower Developer with z/OS Connect Experience (Mainframe)

• Design, develop, and support IBM DataPower services, gateways, and API integrations.
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs using IBM DataPower and z/OS Connect.
• Integrate distributed applications with IBM z/OS mainframe systems and services.
• Develop API mediation, security, routing, transformation, and protocol conversion solutions.
• Configure and support authentication, authorization, SSL/TLS, OAuth, and API security policies.
• Collaborate with mainframe teams to expose CICS, IMS, DB2, and COBOL-based services through APIs.
• Troubleshoot integration, performance, and connectivity issues across DataPower and z/OS platforms.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, and production deployments.
• Ensure integration solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, and operational standards.
