Job summary

Mount Scopus Memorial College invites applications for a full-time PYP Coordinator and Pedagogy Coach in our Primary School across three campuses. Term 1, 2027 start. You will coordinate the PYP from ELC to Year 6, represent the PYP in curriculum discussions and lead high‑impact teaching practices across campuses.

The successful candidate will coach teachers, support planning and assessment, and contribute to excellence in teaching and student engagement.

Qualifications

Must have Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
Recognised qualification in coaching and experience in coaching.
Highly experienced classroom practitioner with exceptional teaching practice.
Strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment framework.
Experience in IB PYP with knowledge of IB standards and assessment practices.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the PYP from ELC to year 6 across three campuses.
Represent the PYP and contribute to curriculum team discussions.
Lead, support and model the IB Primary Years Program.
Promote teaching excellence by supporting planning, high‑impact strategies and assessments.
Coach teachers in the classroom to develop best practice for student engagement.
