Job summary

HESTA is seeking an Identity & Access Management Governance Lead to lead controls, risk assessments and remediation efforts across our systems. You will partner with business and technology teams to identify gaps and drive risk reduction, while shaping IAM standards and the roadmap.

You will work with Information Security teams to monitor threats, ensure compliance, and mentor stakeholders across the organisation. This is a senior security leadership role based in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in IAM governance and control design.
• Experience identifying, triaging and remediating security risks.
• Knowledge of cloud security across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM control assurance and risk assessments across applications, infrastructure and systems.
• Identify, assess and prioritise IAM risks and control gaps using a risk-based approach.
• Develop remediation strategies with technology teams to resolve issues.
• Provide IAM strategy insights and roadmap prioritisation.
• Monitor and report IAM risks and remediation progress to leadership.
• Partner with Information Security Risk & Assurance on formal risk processes.
• Contribute to development and continuous improvement of IAM standards.
