Job summary

XPT Software is seeking a QA/Testing Lead to own SailPoint IIQ testing strategies and automation in Sydney. You will drive end-to-end test plans, coordinate across Dev, Infra, Middleware, and Support, and ensure quality through JIRA defect management and TCR reporting.

Proven hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript is essential, with strong IAM domain knowledge and ability to communicate across cross-functional teams. Hybrid work options may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) upgrades, enhancements and release testing.
• Exposure to IAM-related business processes, user lifecycle management, provisioning, and access certification.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation using TypeScript.
• Ability to design, develop and execute end-to-end test automation frameworks and suites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, plans and scenarios for SailPoint IIQ implementations and enhancements.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Middleware and Support teams to investigate, resolve, and validate issues across environments.
• Log, track and validate defects using JIRA; prepare TCRs, quality metrics, dashboards and status reports.
• Participate in production readiness reviews and contribute to release planning and signoffs.
• Lead the overall testing governance, risk assessments and stakeholder communications.

Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios for SailPoint IdentityIQ IIQ implementations and enhancements.Exposure to IAMrelated business processes, user lifecycle management, provisioning, and access certification. Extensive handson experience in Playwright automation using TypeScript. Strong expertise in designing, developing, and executing end to end test automation frameworks and test suites using Playwright. Collaborate closely with Development, Infrastructure, Middleware, and Support teams to investigate, resolve, and validate issues across environments. Identify, log, track, and validate defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and effective defect management. Prepare Test Completion Reports TCRs, quality metrics, dashboards, and executive level status reports. Participate in production readiness reviews, provide quality assessments, and recommend release signoffs. Contribute to release planning, risk assessments, stakeholder communications, and overall quality governance activities. Review business and technical requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance. Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross functional teams

Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute

1. 1) Lead the overall testing strategy for SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) implementations and enhancements, including test planning, coverage, execution governance, risk assessment, quality metrics, TCR preparation, production readiness, and release sign-off recommendations.
2. 2) Act as the key onsite coordination point across Development, Infrastructure, Middleware, Support, business stakeholders, and offshore QA teams. Drive defect triage, issue resolution, release planning, status reporting, risk/dependency tracking, and timely stakeholder communication.
3. 3) Lead the design and implementation of scalable end-to-end automation using Playwright with TypeScript, ensuring effective regression coverage for IAM scenarios.
