Job summary

XPT Software Australia seeks an experienced QA Engineer to lead SailPoint IIQ testing efforts and drive end-to-end validation across IAM deployments.

This role requires hands-on Playwright automation with TypeScript, collaboration with Development, Infrastructure, Middleware, and Support teams, and a focus on defect management, release readiness, and quality governance.

Qualifications

• Experience with SailPoint IIQ upgrades, enhancements, and release testing.
• Knowledge of broader Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) concepts and IAM domain.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation, preferably using TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios for SailPoint IdentityIQ IIQ implementations and enhancements.
• Exposure to IAM-related business processes, user lifecycle management, provisioning, and access certification.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Playwright automation using TypeScript.
• Strong collaboration with Development, Infrastructure, Middleware, and Support teams to investigate, resolve, and validate issues across environments.
• Identify, log, track, and validate defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and effective defect management.
• Prepare Test Completion Reports (TCRs), quality metrics, dashboards, and executive level status reports.
• Participate in production readiness reviews, provide quality assessments, and recommend release signoffs.
• Contribute to release planning, risk assessments, stakeholder communications, and overall quality governance activities.
• Review business and technical requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross functional teams.

Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute

• Lead the overall testing strategy for SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) implementations and enhancements, including test planning, coverage, execution governance, risk assessment, quality metrics, TCR preparation, production readiness, and release sign-off recommendations.
• Act as the key onsite coordination point across Development, Infrastructure, Middleware, Support, business stakeholders, and offshore QA teams. Drive defect triage, issue resolution, release planning, status reporting, risk/dependency tracking, and timely stakeholder communication.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable end-to-end automation using Playwright with TypeScript, ensuring effective regression coverage for IAM scenarios.
