Hype DC in Bendigo is hiring Christmas Sales Assistants to bring energy, good vibes and a can-do attitude during the peak season. You’ll help customers find their perfect kicks, unpack stock, and pack online orders, with shifts that can be fast-paced and fun.

Retail experience is beneficial but not required; we’re looking for sneakers fans who love fast-paced team environments, are self-motivated, and eager to learn.

About The Role

Step into the season in style with Platypus Shoes at our Bendigo store! As Christmas Sales Assistants, you'll bring energy, good vibes, and a can-do attitude to our busiest (and most fun) time of year. From helping customers find their perfect kicks to unpacking stock or packing online orders, every shift brings something new. If you love sneakers, fast-paced days, and great people, you’ll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Full availability from October 2026 to mid-January 2027, including weekends, late nights, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day


• Retail experience is great, but not a must


• Passion for sneakers, streetwear, and delivering outstanding customer service


• Love the hustle of a fast-paced team environment


• Self-motivated and goal-driven


• Open to learning, feedback, and being your best
