Job summary

The Animal Referral Hospital Canberra is seeking a certified canine hydrotherapist with at least one year post-certification experience to join our team. You will assess patients and develop hydrotherapy programs within our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.

You’ll be calm, compassionate and able to handle dogs of all sizes, with strong communication skills when liaising with clients and veterinary teams.

Qualifications

• Certified canine hydrotherapist with a Cert IV in veterinary nursing or equivalent.
• At least one year of hydrotherapy experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with a can-do attitude.
• Genuine care for patients and their success.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop hydrotherapy programs.
• Administer hydrotherapy sessions for orthopaedic, neurological, senior and performance animals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high standard of care.
• Liaise with clients and veterinary teams.

We’re looking for a certified Hydrotherapist with at least one year of experience post-certification to join our team!

You’ll be calm, compassionate, and comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and abilities, with strong communication skills when liaising with both clients and veterinary teams. You’re organised, reliable, and genuinely passionate about rehabilitation and patient care.

You will have a wide and varied caseload of orthopaedic, neurological, senior and performance animals, and will be responsible for assessing patients and developing and administering hydrotherapy programs, whilst working within our multidisciplinary team to ensure the patients receive the highest standard of care possible.

About You

• A qualified canine hydrotherapist with a Cert IV in veterinary nursing or equivalent
• At least one year of hydrotherapy experience
