Job summary

Motion is seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our Rutherford branch, performing hydraulic hose manufacturing, fitting, repairs and field service support in workshop and on-site locations. You will inspect, diagnose and repair hydraulic hoses, fittings and related components, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

A Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) and 2+ years' experience are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) is required.
• Two years' experience in mechanical fitting, service or repair is desirable.
• Knowledge of mechanical inspection, servicing and repair methods.

Responsibilities

• Service and repairs of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for various applications.
• Maintenance and overhaul of mobile and fixed plant equipment.
• Assemble and overhaul of undercarriage components.
• Conduct audits, inspections and hydraulic fault diagnosis.
• Assist with other workshop duties as required.
