Job summary

The Network IT is seeking a Windows Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) to manage Windows servers in AWS, automation, and cloud-native infrastructure. You will work across AD, SSM, and enterprise applications, while supporting corporate IT teams and on-call responsibilities.

A balanced mix of Windows engineering and cloud administration is expected. Based in North Sydney or Sydney area, the role combines hands-on Windows work with AWS cloud responsibilities and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

Strong Windows administration and engineering skills: ADDS, DNS, DHCP, IIS, failover clustering, patching, hardening

Responsibilities

Administer Windows servers in AWS and manage performance across Windows and cloud infra
Build and operate Windows-based AWS cloud services including AD replication and storage (FSx/S3)
Oversee deployment from implementation to production and ongoing operations
Manage AWS Systems Manager (SSM), IAM roles, and RBAC
Handle S3 administration and automation via PowerShell
Implement configuration drift control and automated patching
Ensure observability with metrics, SLOs, alerts, and dashboards
Provide Windows admin support to corporate IT/desk teams
Administer VPNs (Netskope) and Microsoft 365 administration
Lead incident response, post-mortems, and root-cause analysis
Champion AI-assisted automation (LLMs) and CI/CD initiatives
Develop runbooks and infrastructure diagrams
