Job summary

Workwear Group, part of Wesfarmers, seeks a senior Transport leader to own and optimise transport operations across Australia and New Zealand. You will drive strategy, supplier negotiations, and performance improvements to deliver exceptional service and cost efficiency.

You will lead a team across multiple distribution centres, partner with Commercial and Finance teams, and ensure compliance with safety standards while enhancing logistics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in transport and logistics.
• Proven ability to lead multi-site transport teams.
• Strong Negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute transport strategy across Australia and New Zealand.
• Lead carrier and 3PL selection, contracts, and performance management.
• Oversee domestic and international freight operations for service excellence.
• Manage transport budgets and identify cost optimisation opportunities.
• Drive performance through data analysis, reporting and network optimisation.
• Lead continuous improvement across transport and supply chain operations.
• Optimise TMS and order management capabilities.
• Coach and develop a high-performing transport team.
• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility and safety standards.
