Job summary

Oroton Group is seeking a commercially minded data analyst to drive insight, reporting and decision-making across the Supply Chain. You will optimize reporting frameworks, analyse performance, and support budgeting and forecasting while exploring AI-enabled improvements.

The role focuses on delivering actionable insights across freight, warehousing, labour, inventory and operations, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, finance, commercial analytics or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI capability.
• Experience working with reporting, forecasting, budgeting or performance analysis.
• A naturally curious mindset with a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Interest or experience in AI, automation and technology-driven business improvement.
• Qualifications in Commerce, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Own and enhance Supply Chain reporting, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to support business performance.
• Analyse operational and financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost management across the Supply Chain function.
• Build commercial models and business cases to support key projects and strategic decisions.
• Deliver insights across freight, warehousing, labour, inventory and operational performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies, process improvements and cost savings.
• Develop and maintain KPI reporting and performance scorecards.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to improve reporting efficiency, analysis and decision-making.
