Centorrino Technologies Pty Ltd. is seeking a Security Engineer - SOAR to join our Cyber team in Australia. You will drive SOAR methodologies, design playbooks, and optimize security tooling in a hybrid cloud environment, aligning with ACSC guidelines and PSPF/ISM frameworks.

The role requires experience across infrastructure, network, endpoint and cloud security, plus strong stakeholder engagement and DevOps collaboration. Australian citizenship and NV1 clearance are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity engineering across infrastructure, network, endpoint and cloud.
• Experience implementing SOAR to reduce recurring tickets (FortiSOAR preferred).
• Experience with cloud and hybrid security solutions.
• Strong consulting and engagement skills with diverse audiences.
• Experience with Microsoft cloud services.
• Familiarity with ACSC ISM and Australian cyber regulation.
• Ability to work in fast-paced DevOps environments.
• Australian citizenship and NV1 clearance highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation and refinement of SOAR methodologies, IP and collateral.
• Design, develop, and maintain SOAR playbooks and automation workflows.
• Proactively research automation opportunities to streamline incident response.
• Optimize detection rules and use case logic across security tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to fine-tune security tools for peak performance.
• Propose innovative solutions to streamline operations and client security.
• Adhere to ACSC requirements for PROTECTED implementations in cloud/hybrid setups.
• Align security requirements with PSPF and ISM frameworks.
• Support secure storage of sensitive materials and maintain procedures documentation.
• Own professional development and expand capabilities in SOAR and related fields.
• Stay current with cybersecurity trends to enhance the organization's posture.
