Job summary

The Victorian Government, VIDA Roads, Melbourne, seeks a Surveillance Officer to develop, coordinate and implement risk-based site surveillance across multiple projects. Hybrid working arrangement offered with an 18-month fixed-term VPS4 salary range.

You will build relationships with Technical, Engineering, Planning and Engagement Advisors and contractor teams, resolving issues on site while ensuring quality documentation and compliance with VIDA Roads guidelines.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment checks including national police check.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, planning and implementation of risk-based site surveillance across multiple VIDA Roads projects.
• Maintain positive relationships with Technical, Engineering, Planning and Engagement Advisors and contractor teams, resolving issues on site.
• Exercise judgement in delivery of construction activities (service relocations, earthworks, pavements, drainage, surfacing, traffic management, signals, bridges) per project scope and VIDA Roads guidelines.
• Ensure high-quality documentation and risk-based surveillance across assigned works under quality assured contracts.
