Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Security Engineer in Australia to join the Managed Cyber Services team, delivering end-to-end security operations for local and multinational clients. The role emphasizes on-site collaboration with flexible options and incident response expertise.

You will work with Fortinet and NetSkope ecosystems, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and automation tools while ensuring compliance, SLAs, and continuous improvement. Australian citizenship and NV1 clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in IT/OT security operations for medium or large enterprises.
• Experience with Fortinet NSE and/or NetSkope Accreditation.
• Cloud experience in AWS and Azure.
• Strong understanding of incident response and security monitoring.
• Knowledge of OSI model from TCP/IP to application level; able to troubleshoot and analyze.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onboarding, management and troubleshooting of cybersecurity services.
• Assist in high-priority incidents including infrastructure and security-related issues.
• Ensure security services meet industry best practices and SLAs.
• Automate repetitive administrative tasks where possible.
• Keep up-to-date with security technologies and AI-driven tools.
• Liaise with vendors for advanced-level support.
