BLACKROC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer for a long-term contract with a major Federal Government agency in Australia. This role involves designing, developing, and optimising enterprise data solutions, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration frameworks.

The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, technically mature environment with opportunities to work on enterprise-scale data platforms and modern data engineering practices. Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold or be able to obtain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments is essential.
• Proven skills in ETL/ELT development and optimisation are required.
• Advanced SQL development and performance tuning experience is a must.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build and optimise SQL-based data solutions and integration processes.
• Support DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and version control.
