Service Stream in Melbourne, Victoria is seeking an experienced Accountant to support a major gas contract. Based at Clayton office with a hybrid model (3 days in office, 2 days at home), the role reports to the Finance Manager and covers month-end close, reporting, reconciliations and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Mandatory SAP experience in finance and accounting.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounting role within a medium to large organisation.
• Strong financial accounting and reconciliation experience.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Process improvement experience.

Responsabilidades

• Month-End Accounting & Financial Control: process month-end journals, reconciliations and reporting activities; ensure data accuracy.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and liaise with divisional finance teams; payroll journal review.
• Support the preparation of non-standard customer and third-party billing; balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reporting & Analysis: prepare weekly/monthly reporting packs; support audit processes; assist forecasting and cash flow modelling; overhead analysis.
• Stakeholder Management: partner with operational/project delivery teams to provide financial insights; support audit requests; build relationships.
