Job summary

People First Bank is seeking an experienced Release Manager to join the Release & Environments Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential extension or permanency.

You will plan, coordinate and govern technology releases across projects, BAU changes, and platforms, working closely with engineering, testing, security, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth, well-governed deployments with minimal disruption.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Release Management, Change Management, Delivery, DevOps, or Technology Operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed release plans, milestones, dependencies, implementation schedules, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate release activity across delivery teams, platforms, applications, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Lead release readiness reviews ensuring testing, security, risk, architecture, and operational approvals are in place.
• Own release run sheets and coordinate implementation within approved release windows.
• Facilitate release bridges and stakeholder communications during release events.
• Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and support go/no-go decisions.
