Job summary

Woolworths Group NSW is seeking a Service Technician to support stores in the South West Sydney region. You will perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, ensuring a proactive, responsive and efficient service model.

The role is permanent, full-time and involves site visits, paperwork, and collaboration with facilities, store teams and the call centre. Industry experience and relevant licences are essential.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications in Refrigeration and related licences.
• Current Arctick licence, valid driver’s licence, and Qualified Supervisor Certificate (Refrigeration/AC) or Endorsed Contractor Licence (Refrigeration/AC).
• Experience in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning service and installation; supermarket experience a plus.
• Flexible to work overtime, travel to stores, and be on-call on a shared roster.
• Good computer literacy.
• Knowledge of CO2 systems and Emerson & RDM controls is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Visit various stores to perform troubleshooting, identifying issues and servicing equipment.
• Deliver preventative and corrective maintenance works in accordance with planned schedules
• Complete associated paperwork and reporting
• Monitor replacement spare part inventory and recommend capital works to help reduce operational costs
• Work closely with facilities management, support and technical teams, store teams and our call support centre team
• Work closely with construction teams including informing engineers, planning for replacements and assisting in prioritising capital works
