Costello Medical is seeking an Epidemiologist to join its expanding Real-World Evidence team. You will design and execute prospective, retrospective and cross-sectional studies, develop protocols and statistical analyses, and communicate findings to clients and internal stakeholders.

You will collaborate across service areas and, after induction, may take on project management and client responsibility within six to twelve months.

Qualifications

• A degree level or higher qualification in a relevant subject (2.1+).
• A good understanding of epidemiological techniques and data analysis methods.
• A good understanding of statistical techniques, sufficient to engage in technical discussions with statisticians.
• The ability to explain complex techniques and results to non-experts in writing and speech.
• A good understanding of the R programming language used for analysis of large datasets.
• Willingness to trial or recommend new software or techniques for projects.
• High accuracy and attention to detail with strong customer service and deliverable quality.
• Excellent organisational skills and flexibility to meet deadlines.
• The ability to work independently and as part of project teams.
• Excellent written English; this will be assessed during selection.
