Job Description

We are looking for a Rehabilitation Consultant - Hybrid Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellorto join our teamon a full-time, part-time or Casual basis.

As aRehabilitation Consultant- Hybrid Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counselloryou will play a vital role in the provisionofpsychological interventions, assessments andworkplace rehabilitation services to help build better lives through work and health. As part of the team you’ll support people to get well and working.

As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking psychologicalassessments, field visits,initial, worksite, functional, and early intervention assessments
  • Conducting Vocational and Adjustment to Injury Counselling
  • IdentifyingPsychological, Social, and Return to Work (RTW) barriers anddesigning, implementing and monitoringprograms that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
  • Undertaking Vocational Assessments and Transferable Skills Analyses
  • Liaisingwith clients, insurers, medical practitioners andemployersto achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Full Accreditation from AHPRA or ASORC or able to obtain one
  • Willingness to commence additional studies as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, supported by WorkFocus Australia
  • Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence is essential
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
  • A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
