Job summary

Worley is seeking a Project Quality Manager in Brisbane to lead quality performance on a major mining project within an EPCM environment.

You will drive the development and implementation of the Project Quality Management Plan, coordinate quality assurance across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, and mentor quality personnel to embed continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Certified Internal or Lead Auditor for ISO 9001.
• Significant quality management experience on complex mining projects with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience delivering quality outcomes within an EPCM project environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and track record of practical quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality performance on a major mining project within an EPCM environment.
• Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan and assurance tools.
• Build and maintain a strong client relationship as the primary quality contact.
• Lead quality implementation across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Review and approve supplier/contractor quality documentation and oversee non-conformances.
• Monitor quality KPIs and conduct incidents investigations and governance meetings.
• Lead quality risk assessments and internal/external audits, ensuring compliance with assurance plans.
• Champion continuous improvement and mentor quality professionals.
