Job summary

AECOM is seeking enthusiastic and experienced professionals with a background in technical delivery who are looking to further develop their careers in project and design management. In joining our team, you will lead multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of transportation, bridges, structures and maritime projects in Australia, combining technical excellence with project leadership.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage scope, schedule, resources and budgets, coordinate across disciplines,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Chartered Engineer (CPEng) status and/or professional engineer registration, or actively working towards registration.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating inputs from multiple disciplines.
• Experience managing scope, schedule, resources and budgets on engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary bridge, civil structures and maritime projects and coordinate teams across disciplines.
• Manage project scope, programme, resources, budget, quality and risk to meet objectives.
• Coordinate project teams to deliver integrated outcomes and interface with clients.
• Provide technical leadership for design, inspection, assessment and rehabilitation projects.
• Monitor performance, identify risks/opportunities, and implement mitigations.
• Contribute to proposals, fee estimates and work-winning activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and project delivery staff; champion safe practices.
