Job summary

University of New South Wales is seeking a Project Manager for CardiacAI, a digital health research infrastructure enabling secure use of electronic medical records, linked health data and AI for cardiovascular research and patient care in NSW. Hybrid working arrangement on a Kensington campus.

The role requires extensive project management experience, strong governance and ethics knowledge, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across researchers, clinicians, and engineers to deliver

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in health/public health/health data science or related field, with relevant experience; postgraduate qualifications are valued.
• Extensive project management experience across the project lifecycle and strategic development of plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of CardiacAI and MRFF-funded ID-HF project across NSW health services.
• Oversee governance, stakeholder engagement, operations, quality assurance and reporting; ensure data governance compliance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams; build relationships with researchers, clinicians, engineers, consumers and health service partners.
• Support ethics/governance approvals, data access, researcher onboarding and training; develop documentation and reporting frameworks.
• Monitor budgets and resource allocation; manage competing priorities and ensure timely delivery.
