Black Dog Institute in Randwick, NSW, seeks an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to deliver strategic and operational HR support across the organisation. You will work with leaders to advance people strategies, enhance employee experience and foster a thriving workplace culture.

The role covers workforce planning, employee relations, coaching, remuneration, change management, and culture initiatives, with collaboration across research settings and UNSW partnerships.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Experience in senior advisory or business partnering within People and Culture.
• Experience in employee relations, workforce strategy and business partnering.
• Knowledge of remuneration frameworks, job evaluation and benchmarking.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to coach leaders and drive strategic delivery while navigating ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to align people initiatives with organisational and research priorities.
• Lead workforce planning, succession planning and capability development.
• Coach leaders on performance, development, employee relations and people management practices.
• Provide expert advice on remuneration, job evaluation and benchmarking.
• Support organisational change initiatives with a people-centred approach.
• Analyse workforce metrics and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and People Operations to deliver a seamless employee experience.
• Drive engagement, wellbeing, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to strengthen talent attraction, retention and career development pathways.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies and governance requirements.
