Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking a Network Solution Architect in Brisbane CBD on a 12-month contract with hybrid options. The role leads network modernisation, connectivity and telecommunications transformation, spanning strategy, design governance and delivery support across critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with solution architecture (network-focused) in large/complex organisations.
• Strong enterprise networking background: routing/switching, WAN/LAN/SD-WAN, campus networks, internet edge
• Cloud networking (hybrid environments), ideally Azure networking
• Network security architecture: firewalls, proxies/web gateways, NAC, DNS security, Zero Trust/segmentation
• Protocols/tech: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN/EVPN, DNS/DHCP, load balancing, HA/DR
• Experience with Zscaler (highly regarded)

Responsibilities

• Assess current-state network/connectivity/security and define future-state architecture, standards and roadmaps
• Design/assure complex solutions across core network modernisation, Internet-first, Zero Trust, secure access, segmentation and resilience
• Provide architectural governance, reference architectures, technical leadership and design reviews
• Work closely with engineering and security teams to solve complex technical issues and support major delivery milestones/incident investigations
