Job summary

Endeavour Group in Australia seeks an Infrastructure Architect to shape target-state infrastructure and cloud roadmaps across Azure, GCP, and on-premises. You will author architecture artefacts and drive multi-cloud modernization while guiding cost, risk, and feasibility trade-offs.

This hybrid role supports Melbourne or Sydney locations and requires strong governance and stakeholder influence. Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, engineering, cybersecurity and senior leaders to deliver

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing conceptual, logical, and physical infrastructure architectures.
• Deep technical understanding of Azure, GCP and IaC practices like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Strong governance and architecture governance exposure with enterprise bodies.
• Background delivering architecture within large, retail or customer-facing environments.
• Outstanding communication to translate designs for commercial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect resilient infrastructure across Azure, GCP, and on-premises, with comprehensive design artefacts.
• Lead governance reviews and present options to Architecture boards.
• Form infrastructure standards, guardrails, and target patterns for scalability and security.
• Prepare options papers balancing cost, risk, and business value.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Network and Risk teams to manage dependencies.
• Diagnose and resolve architecture bottlenecks while maintaining enterprise alignment.
