Assurant Reverse Logistics Australia is seeking a Management Accountant/Business Partner to join the finance team on a 10-month fixed-term contract. The role involves month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, revenue recognition, and commercial analysis across Australia and New Zealand with strong stakeholder collaboration.

You will analyse variances, prepare management reports, and provide financial insights to support business decisions while partnering with non-finance teams across multiple

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Experience with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Experience preparing journals, accruals, reconciliations and variance commentary.
• Understanding of revenue recognition, invoicing and receivables.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems like NetSuite.

Responsabilités

• Manage key month-end activities: journals, accruals, reconciliations and supporting workpapers.
• Prepare monthly financial results, customer and brand reporting, variance analysis and commentary.
• Manage project revenue estimates, accruals, revenue recognition and customer invoicing.
• Support budgeting and forecasting, including analysis of workforce costs and other expenses.
• Monitor receivables and assist with overdue invoices and queries.
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders, translating financial information into practical insights.
• Coordinate finance activities across Australia and New Zealand operations.
