Job summary

OnDeck Australia is seeking a commercially minded Portfolio Forecasting Analyst to shape the lending portfolio and strategy. You’ll forecast using driver-based models and collaborate with risk, finance and product teams to translate data into actionable insights.

The role focuses on developing forecasting capability, analyzing policy and pricing impacts, and driving credit strategy optimisations for sustainable growth. Hybrid work with a Sydney CBD presence is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative field.
• 3+ years in a commercially focused analytical role.
• Strong Excel and SQL skills.
• Experience with R, SAS or SPSS.
• Detail-oriented with data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Build driver-based portfolio forecasts and establish forecasting capability.
• Analyze how policy, pricing, marketing, channel mix and behavior affect portfolio.
• Develop loss forecasting and provisioning per IFRS 9/ AASB 9.
• Identify portfolio risks, trends and opportunities.
• Develop credit strategy optimisations for growth and profitability.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis for planning and decisions.
• Assess credit policies and recommend improvements.
• Turn analysis into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
