Job summary

AFL Recruitment - Accounting Financial Legal partners with a fast-growing high-tech law firm to recruit a Litigation Lawyer specializing in Commercial/IP disputes. This role offers ownership of a litigation practice with mentorship from a seasoned principal and a hybrid work arrangement in Sydney.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of commercial litigation experience, including some IP exposure, strong drafting and advocacy skills, and an entrepreneurial drive to participate in business

Qualifications

• Admitted solicitor with 3+ years in commercial litigation.
• IP litigation experience preferred but not essential.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with willingness to participate in business development/marketing.
• Ability to mentor junior lawyers and contribute to a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a litigation practice in Commercial/IP disputes.
• Advise and resolve disputes for a broad client base Australia-wide.
• Engage in business development and client service initiatives.
