Job summary

Bentley, a Brisbane-based accounting firm, is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join its Business Services team. You’ll work closely with Partners and Managers, managing your own client portfolio and gaining exposure to a range of businesses and tax matters.

Key tasks include preparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals, meeting deadlines, building client relationships and assisting with more complex tax matters.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Australian public practice experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance.
• Currently studying or planning CA/CPA.
• Experience with turnovers of $5M+ is preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full Australian working rights.

Experience with Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks will be highly regarded.
