Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking Integration Specialists to manage design, build, test and lifecycle of inter-system integration services. Hybrid work setup with a fixed-term contract through September 2027, offering opportunities to contribute to high-availability, secure financial infrastructure.

The role requires deep expertise in IBM Sterling B2B, Connect Direct, SWIFTNet, Java and scripting, and a strong background in CI/CD and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with IBM Sterling B2B, Connect Direct, SWIFTNet, and related stacks.
• Proficient in Java, scripting languages, YAML, and Python.
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, and remediate issues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver integration projects and BAU enhancements for inter-system connectivity.
• Maintain lifecycle management of integration services including upgrades, patching and asset management.
• Uplift resilience and cyber security controls for 24x7 operations.
• Provide integration design consultancy for secure, reliable inter-system connections.
• Support 3rd line incident response and ITIL-based service management.
• Maintain documentation and governance for Bank's integration technologies.
