Job summary

Kao Corporation is seeking a Supply & Demand Planner in Melbourne to drive end-to-end planning for major beauty brands. You will partner across functions to align forecasts, manage inventory, and coordinate supply and contract manufacturing to meet demand.

You will bring 2–3 years of FMCG planning experience, a relevant degree, and strong SAP/Excel skills to deliver accurate forecasts and informed decisions in a hybrid Melbourne-based team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in supply and demand planning within FMCG or beauty/personal care industries is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Supply Chain or a similar field is required.
• APICS CPIM qualification is welcome but not essential.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system and producing reports for stakeholders is essential.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills to present data clearly and influence decisions are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing and supply to meet demand and exceed service targets.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to align forecasts and promotional activity.
• Manage products in planning systems and own monthly forecast accuracy and long-term demand planning.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to align production with forecast demand.
• Report on service levels, inventory, forecast accuracy and stock to support planning decisions.
