Job summary

u&u Recruitment Partners is partnering with a leading Queensland sporting organisation to recruit a Finance Officer based in Albion. You will manage accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end activities using Dynamics 365, Basware and Concur.

You will join a collaborative finance team, engage with stakeholders across the organisation and contribute to process improvements while ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Finance Officer or similar role, or a recent Accounting, Business or Commerce graduate looking to start their finance career.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations.
• Experience with accounting systems, ideally D365, Basware or Concur.
• Excel skills and strong communication with stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Accounting, Business or Commerce qualification, or currently studying towards one.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and weekly payment runs;
• Process accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and follow up outstanding payments;
• Administer Concur, reconcile corporate credit cards and maintain accurate financial records in D365;
• Assist with month-end reporting, reconciliations, accruals and financial reporting;
• Support cash flow, budgeting, fixed assets, audit requirements and finance projects;
• Collaborate with the finance team to drive process improvements.
