Job summary

Talenza is seeking an experienced EMR Solution Architect to lead end-to-end architecture for a major digital health transformation. You will own the target-state EMR architecture and ensure seamless integration with clinical and enterprise systems.

Partner with the Program Director, vendor teams and governance forums to define architectural principles, manage dependencies and drive key decisions across workstreams. On-site three days a week at Macquarie Park with work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading EMR/EHR architecture initiatives.
• Strong understanding of clinical systems and hospital tech environments.
• Proven ability to define end-to-end and target-state architectures.
• Experience with integration standards like HL7 and FHIR.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end Solution Architecture leadership across the EMR Program.
• Develop and maintain the target-state EMR solution architecture.
• Act as a technical design authority, providing clear direction across program workstreams.
• Partner closely with the EMR vendor throughout design and implementation.
• Define the integration architecture across clinical and enterprise systems.
• Identify and manage architectural dependencies, risks and key decisions.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, artefacts and decision records.
• Provide clear technical advice to the Program Director and governance forums.
