Job summary

SEEK is seeking a Senior Data Solution Designer to join our Data Services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Australia. You will translate complex business needs into scalable data products and models, shaping data solutions across SEEK.

You’ll collaborate with data engineers, analysts and stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-governed data capabilities that enable better insights and decision-making. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement and data modelling expertise.

Qualifications

• Strong business-facing capabilities engaging stakeholders and translating business problems into technical solutions.
• Solid understanding of Data Science concepts and methodologies.
• Proficient with SQL, Python and DBT and data modelling approaches like 3NF, Kimball and Data Vault.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into data strategies and solutions.
• Design data models and data products to support outcomes.
• Develop scalable data transformation pipelines from source systems.
• Assess data quality, investigate anomalies and support root-cause analysis.
• Establish data quality assurance processes including testing and monitoring.
• Lead data design workshops and solution reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers and analysts to deliver high-quality data products.
• Contribute to governance and design practices across the team.
