Job summary

RAC WA is seeking a Data Governance Lead to drive governance and data management across federated domains. You will operate under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Data Governance, enabling data assets to be assessed, maintained, protected and enriched in line with enterprise standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with risk, compliance and business stakeholders, with a focus on improving data quality, lifecycle processes and secure data sharing within a flexible, hybrid working

Qualifications

• Experience in the financial services or insurance industries is desirable.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks (DMBOK, DCAM) and tools (Microsoft stack, Experian) is desirable.
• Proven experience engaging with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Business or Systems Analysis experience is highly regarded.
• Strong data entry, processing and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support Data Governance: operationalise best practice data capabilities across domains and federated lines of business.
• Support strategic programs of work for data, privacy and security initiatives.
• Lead relationship management with data owners/stewards and stakeholders to promote effective governance.
• Enhance data management by defining quality rules and lifecycle processes for secure sharing and compliance.
• Drive process improvement by identifying opportunities and recommending controls for data quality and efficiency.
• Understand change impacts with data risk assessments and stakeholder engagement to minimise negative impact.
• Administer data-related workflows to track tasks and issues clearly and effectively.
