Job summary

Talent Corp is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to join a growing technology team supporting enterprise and government clients in Canberra. The role spans security engineering, consulting and hands-on design across varied client environments.

You will participate in security reviews, workshops and ongoing service delivery, with a mix of on-site and remote work and potential on-call involvement. Training and development are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in security engineering, consulting, network security or technical security support.
• A sound understanding of IP networking and security principles.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies (see tools list).
• Training and development opportunities are available for the right candidate.
• Working rights: Australian citizenship required; NV1 clearance advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical security advice to customers and internal teams.
• Lead customer meetings and technical workshops where appropriate.
• Support security reviews, solution design and implementation planning.
• Assist with security incident responses and technical issue resolution.
• Contribute to upgrades, new implementations, policy tuning and service improvements.
• Identify opportunities to automate security processes and stay updated on threats.
