Job summary

Plena Healthcare is a national allied health provider delivering services across Residential and Community Aged Care, with over 20 years’ experience. As a Physiotherapist in a community setting, you will join a large, multidisciplinary team providing personalised assessments and treatments to improve movement, function and independence.

The role involves managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, delivering mobility and functional programs, care plan reviews, one-to-one

Qualifications

• General AHPRA registration
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
• Current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
• Full Australian working rights

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendations to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to the needs of Plena and community-based providers to work within the scope of the Physiotherapy profession
• Deliver mobility and functional programs, care plan reviews, one-to-one interventions, and group-based active ageing services in a hybrid work setting
