Job summary

Health Workforce is seeking a Community Physiotherapist for a permanent, full-time role in Toowoomba, Queensland. You will see clients in their environments, provide hydrotherapy, and perform telehealth as needed, with strong emphasis on disability populations and family-centered care.

The role offers an above-award salary range ($80,000–$90,000) with administrative support and opportunities for professional development in a supportive, growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Current AHPRA Registration.
• Current indemnity insurance.
• CPR & First Aid Certificate.
• Drivers Licence.
• COVID vaccinations up to date.
• Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Effective communication across diverse client groups.
• Thrives in both team and autonomous settings.
• Willing to adapt a fun, engaging approach with children.
• Experience with people with disabilities is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-community consultations in clients' environments.
• Provide hydrotherapy sessions as part of treatment.
• Conduct Telehealth consultations occasionally.
• Treat a range of clients from paediatric to elderly.
• Prepare reports for third parties and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with the team to improve service delivery.
• Support clients with equipment as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher
