Job summary

Pernod Ricard is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to support National Key Accounts with insightful financial analysis, governance and decision support. You will report to the Commercial Finance Manager and contribute to month-end reporting, trade spend management, balance sheet reconciliations and customer profitability analysis in a role that collaborates with Sales, FP&A and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or related discipline.
• 3+ years' commercial finance experience; liquor or FMCG preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling, including P&L, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Experience in trade spend, pricing, promotions, inventory or customer profitability analysis.
• Experience partnering with Sales teams and cross-functional Finance stakeholders.
• Financial control experience, including month-end reporting, accruals, reconciliations and audit documentation.
• E1 or JD Edwards experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, FP&A, RGM and Trade Spend Analysts to provide commercially focused analysis, recommendations and challenge on customer investment decisions.
• Deliver monthly performance analysis across channel, banner and brand, explaining Net Sales, volume, A&D and trade spend movements.
• Complete month-end journals, trade spend accruals and balance sheet reconciliations accurately and within required timelines.
• Support NPD governance by assessing margin, pricing, customer investment and trade spend impacts, and maintaining tracking and reporting.
• Build and maintain financial models, deal calculations, pricing support and scenario analysis to support negotiations, forecasts and ad hoc business decisions.
