Centorrino Technologies Pty Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to join our Staff Augmentation team in Australia. You will provide Level 2/3 support for Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and high availability while mentoring the on-site ICT resource.

The 6‑month contract role focuses on cloud and on-prem environments, cybersecurity, automation with PowerShell, and proactive improvement across hybrid infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Level 2/3 Infrastructure or Systems Engineer role.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Entra ID.
• Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/3 technical support and escalation across Microsoft 365, Azure and on-premises infrastructure.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and Entra ID.
• Manage Azure resources including virtual machines, networking, storage and identity services.
• Maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Administer and support VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls and VPN connectivity.
• Monitor infrastructure health, identify risks and proactively resolve performance and availability issues.
• Support cybersecurity operations by responding to security incidents and assisting with threat remediation.
• Perform system patching, upgrades and vulnerability remediation across server and cloud environments.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring successful testing and recovery readiness.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administration tasks.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve infrastructure issues.
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to on-site ICT resource.
