Job summary

Arinco is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Australia team. You will build and maintain data platforms using Microsoft Fabric or Azure Databricks, develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, and apply governance and security best practices across Azure data services.

Collaborate with data engineers, architects, business analysts and project managers to deliver high‑impact data solutions. You will optimize performance and costs, implement IaC with Bicep or Terraform, and deploy CI/CD

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with data platforms (Fabric or Databricks) and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of data security, governance and cost optimization on Azure.
• Proficient in Python for building scalable data processes.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data platforms using Microsoft Fabric or Azure Databricks.
• Ingest, transform and analyze data across pipelines with best practices.
• Implement data governance, security controls and cost management.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, BAs, PMs and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to IaC provisioning (Bicep/Terraform) and CI/CD automation.
