SW Accountants & Advisors in Melbourne seeks an Audit Technical Manager / Senior Manager to lead the Audit Technical support function. Working with the Audit Technical Director, you will help shape audit methodology, support technical consultations, and deliver training programs to improve audit quality.

This role suits a technically strong professional with CA certification, 5+ years of external audit experience, and a passion for standards and innovation.

Qualifications

• CA qualified or equivalent with accounting credentials.
• Minimum 5 years' external audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience designing and delivering training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to engagement teams on complex audit matters.
• Develop and maintain audit methodology, workpapers, tools and guidance.
• Monitor changes to standards and regulatory requirements and assess impact.
• Develop and deliver audit technical training programs.
• Lead strategic projects to enhance audit quality using technology and AI.
• Liaise with regulators and standard setters as required.
