ASM Chilltech in Cranbourne, Victoria, is seeking a full‑time HVAC Technician to maintain and service heating, cooling and refrigeration systems across client facilities. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs, and support building management systems where required.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• Experience in a similar HVAC Technician role.
• Ability to diagnose, repair and maintain HVAC equipment and systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• White Card (Construction Induction).
• Working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive HVAC maintenance across client facilities.
• Install, test, service and maintain heating, cooling and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and upgrades on HVAC equipment.
• Inspect and maintain chilled water systems and refrigeration equipment.
• Support efficient operation of ventilation equipment and controls.
• Inspect/maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) where required.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
• Complete service reports, compliance docs and work orders on time.
• Ensure all works comply with WHS, environmental and ASM Chilltech standards.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The Role

We are recruiting full-time HVAC Technicians for static site and mobile technician roles throughout Melbourne's Western, Northern and Eastern regions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering planned and reactive HVAC maintenance across client facilities
• Installing, testing, servicing and maintaining heating, cooling and refrigeration systems
• Conducting fault finding, repairs and upgrades across HVAC equipment and infrastructure
• Inspecting and maintaining chilled water systems and refrigeration equipment
• Supporting the efficient operation of ventilation equipment and associated controls
• Inspecting and maintaining Building Management Systems (BMS) where required
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical defects and system malfunctions
• Completing service reports, compliance documentation and work orders within required timeframes
• Ensuring all works comply with WHS, environmental and ASM Chilltech quality standards
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with clients and stakeholders

Your Education, Experience & Skills

• Trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Previous experience in a similar HVAC Technician role
• Ability to diagnose, repair and maintain HVAC equipment and systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Well-developed communication and customer service skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and service requirements
• Current Driver's Licence
• White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• Working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) is advantageous
  
  
  

Desirable Skills And Experience

• Experience working within commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare or government environments
• Experience with chilled water systems, refrigeration equipment and mechanical services maintenance
• Additional training or certifications including Working at Heights, First Aid, High Voltage Switching or related industry qualifications
