Overview

Ventia provides facilities management services including planned and reactive maintenance, as well as repairs to the City of Sydney's portfolio of 251 facility assets. These assets include a range of community facilities such as community centres, libraries, leisure facilities and depots, commercial buildings, and iconic buildings such as Sydney Town Hall and the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre.

Role

We’re hiring a full-time permanent HVAC Technician to join our team.

What you’ll be doing
  • Undertaking all planned and scheduled preventative maintenance works.
  • Prioritising reactive and breakdown maintenance tasks.
  • Performing refrigeration work and mechanical services, including the performance of peripheral and incidental tasks.
  • Completing relevant work management dockets, work feedback, inventory and general maintenance reports.
  • Making recommendations aimed at extending equipment life.
About you
  • Refrigeration Mechanic and Refrigeration gasses trade qualification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with installation and maintenance of heating, air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
  • A good understanding of Australian mechanical services standards.
  • Must be willing to undergo a police check.
  • Driver’s License.
  • White Card.
