Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Technical HVAC Sales Engineer / Specialist to engage with mechanical contractors, building owners and facility managers, delivering tailored HVAC solutions across commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. You will assess sites, recommend equipment, and lead the full sales cycle from qualification to closing, while ensuring customer satisfaction and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–8+ years of technical sales experience in HVAC equipment/systems.
• Solid understanding of HVAC fundamentals, psychrometrics, hydronics, airflow, controls and energy efficiency.
• Proficient with HVAC selection and design software.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and control sequences.

Responsibilities

• Perform site assessments, load calculations and system evaluations to recommend HVAC equipment and designs.
• Prepare sales proposals, equipment selections, specifications and submittals.
• Deliver technical presentations, product trainings and lunch-and-learn sessions.
• Manage the full sales process from lead generation to closing.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at mechanical contractors and facility owners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on HVAC trends, codes and energy standards.
