We require a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join a dynamic team in Fyshwick ACT 2609, offering a competitive salary and a path for professional growth.

This full-time role involves fabricating and installing ductwork, interpreting engineering drawings, and delivering high-quality workmanship in commercial, industrial, and residential

Qualifications

• Minimum Trade certificate level or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Minimum one year of work experience in sheet metal/ HVAC roles.
• White card (construction induction) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, shop detail drawings and specs to confirm dimensions.
• Fabricate ducting and sheet metal components from galvanised steel, zincalume, stainless steel, aluminium and copper.
• Assemble components using rivets, welding, fastening systems and sealants.
• Install ductwork and related HVAC sheet metal parts at client sites.
• Check finished work against drawings and tolerances; rectify defects.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order.
