Job summary

Crest Air Conditioning in North Lakes, QLD is seeking a trade qualified HVAC Service Technician to join our team. Based at our North Lakes office, you will perform preventative maintenance, fault finding, and commissioning of HVAC systems across varied projects.

You will mentor apprentices, complete required paperwork and ensure WHS compliance on each job. A Queensland licence and construction/White Card are essential, with a strong customer service mindset and ability to work both in a team and

Qualifications

• QBCC Mechanical Service – Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Occupational Licence is required.
• Valid QLD Drivers Licence.
• Construction / White Card.
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality HVAC services including preventative maintenance, fault finding, problem solving and repairing of HVAC systems.
• Commissioning of various types of air conditioning systems.
• Quoting on and follow-up additional and new work.
• Installing Commercial HVAC ducting systems across a variety of projects.
• Installing pipework and fittings e.g. refrigerant, VRF, multi systems, heat assembly and heat recovery.
• Installation of flexible duct work and fittings and other associated HVAC components.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, ensuring correct measurements are taken.
• Mentoring of apprentices when onsite.
• Completing and submitting of all relevant paperwork and reporting.
• Ensuring awareness and practice of WHS compliance with each job.
